Galapagensis' photos reflect a profound, personal journey that grapples with the complex aspects of vulnerability. As an artist, I not only explore my own insecurities but also the strength of vulnerability and the beauty that is hidden in moments of stillness and reflection.
My pictures invite us to pause and rest in the midst of a world full of sensory overload. I strive to capture fleeting moments of light and shadow, to appreciate them and to explore the subtle nuances of nature, capturing its mystery and wonders. My photos mainly focus on the landscapes of the places I have traveled, where people often take a backseat and serve more as observers than subjects. This is to avoid the superficial, voyeuristic, or judgmental qualities that people photography often portrays. Stories are created by chance, randomness and light.
